A hidden gem. On entering you have various old item available for sale like typewriter and furniture. Then you see the astounding variety of Cacti as the place is a nursery as well. A friendly kitty greets you. The food portions are generous and made from scratch like the bread. Really enjoyed my visit here.
What a quirky little spot! You forget you're in a town when you're walking through the nursery outside near the seating area, fascinating variety of vetplante to check out while you wait for your food, as well as all sorts of interesting little nicknacks and vintage items to see throughout the house. Really enjoyed their Ou Kaya breakfast, huge portion for the price! Pies are homemade, farm fresh style. Would definitely recommend for a breakfast or brunch if passing through the area!
What a quaint unassuming little restaurant, nursery, cafe ... Looking at it from the road, you could never imagine what you would see inside. Really really nice. The food was great, the staff are friendly and accommodating. The cat was friendly and so at home with guests. The owners are friendly as well ...will definitely recommend
Found this little gem of a café while in Wellington for a mini holiday. You walk into a little shop and at the back is this amazing nursery and Café. The homemade chicken pie was so tasty and the staff were very friendly. They are also dog friendly and offered my little dog a bowl of water on arrival. If you're visiting Wellington make sure you make a stop here
The best place to get stunning plants at reasonable prices as well as delicious pies.
Great service, even better food. Very unassuming from the front yet all the magic happens at the back - literally as there's a wonderful crafts garden. Pet friendly. The Ou Kaya breakfast was superb. Will definitely make the trip back. There's an awesome selection of curios at the back of the restaurant.
Such a lovely and unassuming little place! When you walk in, it seems like a little shop almost. Then you walk through a kitchen of sorts and out the back into an incredible and peaceful succulent garden and a little restaurant set up at the back of the shop section. We stopped here for milkshakes - great decision!
Ou Kaya is simply lovely!! My boys love it here. Everyone is so friendly, from the hostess to the waitress to the cheff. Absolutely everyone are a delight to interact with. The food is great! I have picky eaters and even they approve Their Antique selection is wonderful. We love browsing through Antiques and they didn't dissapoint. The nursery's succulent and cacti collection are unmatched. I seriously think they have the biggest cacti selection in the Cape Winelands. We had a great lunch and superb stop. Ou Kaya is a definite stop in Wellington. #wellington #capewinelands #oukaya #travel #westerncape #traveltheboland #boland
